In pursuit of its support for technical knowledge and vocational skills to deserving youths from the low-income group, Nestlé donated about CHF 100,000 to the Institute of Industrial Technology (IIT). The fund will enable IIT to provide professional training for youths and adults in the area of Mechanical /Electrical Electronics and Industrial automation technologies.

IIT is a Technical Training Institution set up by the African Development Foundation, a non-profit organization which focuses on promoting educational and social welfare projects, one of which is the Lagos Business School (now Pan African University).
