Nestlé is steadfastly committed to the development of grassroots sports in Nigeria by sponsoring many sporting events and programmes in Nigeria including the: Nestlé MILO Future Champions Tennis Clinic and Nestlé MILO Secondary School Basketball Championship.

The Nestlé MILO Basketball Championship has become the avenue through which talents are recruited into the game of basketball in Nigeria. The Championship has given graduates of the clinic a chance to exhibit their skills in competition and win laurels for their schools. The championship has also produced many players for local and international leagues.
