University of Zimbabwe, Medical School (Fourth year medical student exchange program - air fares to Europe).
The Medical School at the University of Zimbabwe requires students during their 4th year of medicine to undergo a student exchange program at a university in a developed country. More often than not, students cannot afford the travel fees. About ten years ago, the Medical School struck a deal with Nestle Zimbabwe where Nestle provides travel funding to Europe for one student. A criterion for qualifying for such sponsorship was developed by the medical school. Nestle provides the recommended student with one Air Zimbabwe return air ticket to the destination.
