In order to Nestlé commitment with the community were it is located, the company worked with Argentine Red Cross to identify the students and the community needs in 2004. The entity analyzed the situation of every school included in the Programme of Assistance to Schools, developed by Nestlé since 1978. After this analysis Nestlé started working on Nourishing Programme. This programme has an impact in 18 schools and 4500 children from primary school level.

Since 2007 Nestlé has been working together with NOG Avina, Alternativa 3 and Interrupción in order to develop a new model of cooperation between Nestlé and the schools communities.
