Nestlé employee gets his Flu Shot

Nestlé Canada has an Employee Assistance Program, which offers professional, confidential support to help employees.  These include:

Personal Well Being – Stress, depression, grief, aging, etc.
Relationship and family issues: - Separation, domestic abuse, building healthy relationships, parenting, etc.
Addictions: Smoking, drugs, alcohol, gambling etc.
Nutrition Counselling -  -professional nutritional consultation services which offers services including, weight loss/gain, diet, healthy eating habits etc.
Legal Consultation Services – family law, custody, bankruptcy, wills etc.
Professional Financial Advice – Budgeting, income tax planning, early retirement etc.
Cafeteria – Healthy menus and choices offered.

In addition to the above, various sites offer Lunch n’ Learn sessions e.g. Positive Parenting Birth to Twelve, Surviving the Teen Years, Caring for the Aging etc. 
 

We are also presently investigating a service that provides emergency day care services in a number of areas where we have locations. www.kidsandcompany.ca

We also have negotiated a discount rate for employees with GoodLife Fitness centres across Canada.  http://www.goodlifefitness.com/

Individual locations may offer programs such as Pilates and Weight Watchers.  We also sponsor a limited number of employee activities such as volleyball, hockey, wellness walks to support Kids Help Phone etc. Other Wellness initiatives include Flu Shot clinics, blood pressure clinics and Wellness weeks.

Employees who volunteer a minimum of 50 hours per year to a registered charity are eligible for a $200 grant in their name to the charity.
