The family of Juan Felipe Gomez Escobar, who passed away at the end of year 2000, maintains the child’s spirit alive. To his memory, a foundation that takes its name was created in Cartagena, and that in the last years has saved hundreds of poor children in hospitals of the region.

The beneficiaries are assisted in segments according to age: children under one, children under five years of age, adolescent mothers and their children, and the impoverished community.

Nestle has contributed to the Foundation since 2007.
