DPA Ecuador was buying fresh milk which was not chilled until 2005.

In this program were involved DPA E Milk Producer Services & aprox 1800 farmers which were  directly benefited from this program.  DPA E gave loans of USD $ 4.3 mios to support this project; no interest fee is being collected and these loans are being paid back in sixty monthly installments.  Alfa Laval and Westfalia gave 20% discount in purchases.

We concluded this program one year ahead of target, December 2007. Milk purchase increase in aprox 13% CGR in three years. Quality milk: 47% <100 K TPC. We have the Leadership  and recognition in the “milk and agricultural environment “. The farmers develop within the frame of “quality and assurance”.
