Nestlé Jamaica is a major contributor to the United Way which provides funding for a vast number of social welfare projects throughout the island.

Each year the United Way allocates funds to organisations specifically designated by Nestlé including boy’s homes and associations for the deaf and mentally handicapped, the Jamaica 4H Movement, the Jamaica Heart Foundation, the Jamaica Cancer Society, and the Above Rocks Health Centre.

From 1997 to 2000, Nestlé received the Platinum Award for donating over 1,000,000 Jamaican dollars. Contributions are also made to the Scientific Research Council for assistance with science education.
