Nestlé Paraguay has been making donations since 1998. We have selected 30 charity organizations who are officially registered and that have proved to be serious and effective in reaching clear objectives of help and support. These institutions are both private and public and some are of a religious orientation. One recent example has been a reinforcement of our relationship with the International Food Bank which has been expanding its operation and confirmed its presence and professionalism in Paraguay.

Through food donations, we have helped effectively in areas of rural education, underprivileged children, children's homes, psychiatric public institutions as well as homes for the elderly and disabled.

We have reacted quickly in times of tragedy. Our main example here has been our food donation less than 24 hours after the explosion of the Ycua Bolaños Supermarket in Asuncion where more than 400 people died. This was the worst ever tragedy in the history of Paraguay.

We provide all institutions with nutritious and adequate food products as well as food assistance and information.
