Nutritional Counsel is a practical workshop of Nutritional Education for families with children that suffer of malnutrition and population in high risk of it.

This Programme is located in San Juan de Lurigancho, Peru’s biggest district. 70% of the population in SJL belongs to the D and E socio-economic level and presents 25% of infant malnutrition and in some places it reaches 62%.

In the last five years, Nutritional Counsel took over 24,000 interventions including home visits, workshops for mothers and children, school visits, etc.

From these 24,000 interventions, 9000 mothers had improved their families’ nutritional and healthy habits.
