Nestlé Peru is aware of the importance of supporting the development of the poor districts of Lima. With this in mind, since the beginning of the year we have been conducting a travelling, nutrition-education project with great success, through our Nutrimovil Nestlé, which is a specially-adapted vehicle that offers free consulting services on nutrition education.

The “Nutrimovil Nestlé” has four specialists in the field of nutrition, who provided approximately 25,000 free consultations in year 2004.

The project has opened the mutual cooperation with district municipalities, schools and social institutions concerned about the health of these areas of Lima. The Dean of the Peruvian Association of Nutritionists, Isabel Guzmán Ganoza, has highlighted Nestlé’s campaign, as in her words it is a praiseworthy  project in favor of the community.
