In collaboration with other corporations, Nestlé gave its support to the establishment of the Akademi Teknik Mesin Industri (Academy of Industrial Machine Engineering), or ATMI, in West Java. The school aims at producing highly trained graduates who are skilled in industrial machine engineering. The ATMI applies production-based education and training methods, with its students devoting most of their attention to practical training in the workshop.
