The Kejayan factory donated books, writing boards and educational toys to schools in the area around the plant. These include two kindergartens, four Islamic elementary schools (ibtidaiyah), the Kejayan Junior High School, and a traditional Islamic boarding school (pesantren). 

The Panjang factory also helped improve the libraries of local schools by furnishing them with textbooks and reading books. Construction materials were also provided for school renovations.
