Better knowledge and awareness on basic nutrition and healthy living can bring a better life. Health workers play an important role in disseminating such information to the community. However, they must be equipped with appropriate knowledge and skills with regards to basic nutrition.
The objective is to disseminate information on basic nutrition and healthy living to the community through Health Workers / Public Health Center.
The program has started in June 2008 in collaboration with Local Health Agency and Indonesia Medical Nutrition Association.
Number of people impacted :
1,250 health workers in three cities: Jakarta, Lampung and Pasuruan. Furthermore they will roll out information on basic nutrition to surrounding community.
