Dengue fever is a serious problem in Indonesia and occasionally reaches epidemic proportions in Jakarta and other parts of the country. The most vulnerable group consists of children. Ironically, this disease can be prevented as long as the community practices healthy behaviour, like cleaning up the environment and eliminating possible mosquito breeding grounds. To assist the community to prevent dengue, the Nestlé factory in Cikupa conducted an information session on how to prevent dengue. In this event, information about nutrition for children was also provided.
