The forum in March was aimed at helping Corporate Malaysia strengthen its corporate citizenship through the support of the UN Global Compact Principles by understanding what it entails.
As many Malaysian companies are not yet signatories, it was vital that they learn what the benefits to society are, and how they can make clear and sustained improvements to society.
As a sponsor, Nestlé Malaysia was able to share its business strategy and commitment to the UN Global Compact, and share the various Corporate Responsibility initiatives undertaken over the years. Around 100 representatives from the private and public sector attended the forum.
