Nestlé Pakistan regularly makes donations to charitable hospitals and organizations that serve the underprivileged. In collaboration with an NGO, Nestlé Pakistan supports the nutrition program of poor children suffering from Thalessemia. In 2003 and 2004 the Company sponsored walks by Thalessemia children to the base camps of Mounts K2 and Masherbrum to create awareness about the disease and to raise funds.

Work is underway to strengthen a government basic health unit in Gadap (Karachi) to provide emergency health facilities to the local rural population. A similar primary health care unit will be constructed at Kabirwala (District Multan). A Karachi based NGO is being assisted to set up a mobile health delivery facility in the remote border area of Sindh and Baluchistan.
