  • Spicy Colours 2004
Art showThe „Maggi Arts Series“ was created in 2004 and will be continued on an annual basis in the future. This project supports Nestlé's engagement as sponsor in the field of arts and culture and will cover different aspects of modern contemporary art every year.  In 2004 the main focus was on painting.
The original brand-colours of Maggi are red and yellow – the spicy colours – therefore all paintings were to be created in these colours.
In close cooperation with the famous Hilger Art Gallery and the Academy for Applied Arts, young artists were asked to contribute their work.
The Maggi Kultur-Zyklus serves two main aims:
- Young talented artists will be given the chance to present their works to a large audience for the first time;
- a social institution will be supported every year: objects that are produced within this project will be sold or auctioned. In 2004 all the money received  was given to the Viennese Integrationshaus, an institution which takes care of asylum seekers (offering a place to stay, educational teaching, etc.).
