Nestlé Norway supports a wide range of projects, most of them within the field of nutrition.
The company supports research programmes such as a mother and child living-conditions research carried out by the National Health Institute, and a study on child allergy carried out by the Department of Community Medicine and General Practice at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
Nestlé Norway gives donations to the Norwegian Cancer Association in connection with their work on prevention and treatment of cancer.
The local community’s cultural festival for children, which takes place in August every year is also supported by the Company.
To benefit the physical health of children Nestlé supports a sports education program through Jan Åge Fjørtoft’s football school and the company give donations to charities, supporting them in their work with drug abuse prevention among children and youth.
