Internal Wellness Days – an internal program for a healthy lifestyle – increases interest, passion and awareness of wellness within the company. The programme focuses on physical activity and balanced, healthy nutrition for all employees.
Initiated in 2005, starting with a one week campaign, using wall posters in the office and intranet banners and two events covering 'Active Lifestyle – it’s time to act (Sept.05)' and 'Good Nutrition - you will love it (Nov.05)'.
In 2006: 4 events foreseen: moving to practical aspects of wellness
1. Wake-up- Spring is coming (March06)
2. Summer – Menu (*June06)
3. Vitality in Autumn and Winter (*Oct.06)
4. Look Good (*Dec.06)
Each event is held on 3-5 consecutive days, during lunch time (12:00 – 14:00) at Head Office in Moscow, activities range from cooking classes & tasting with distribution of recipes, short lectures, fitness shows, physical exercises, body-fat measurements, measurement of cardiovascular fitness; program, recipes and further information are posted on Nestle Intranet Site. Participation ranges from about 50 – 70%.
