Venezuelans often consider healthy nutrition like a difficult, expensive or unattractive option in their eating habits. For this reason and with the objective of sharing nutritional information in a simple and personalised way, Nestlé has developed the Nutrimóvil programme in Venezuela. The project is supported by three mobile units capable of reaching areas difficult to access where communities of scant economic resources live.
Informative talks are given during the visits, the individual's nutritional status is diagnosed and educational material is handed out with straightforward recommendations on eating habits.

Nutrimóvil has been operational since March 2007 and has since assisted more than 41,000 people. In 2008, the goal was to triple the number of people advised and extend the programme to the inner cities of the country.
