Statistics for the Nutrir programme are as follows:
- 5'655 children taught and informed about the importance of a better nutrition (April 2008 to August 2008)
- 1'778 children attended the performance of the "Nutrir Fair" (April 2008 to August 2008)
- 7'700 children from schools of the Metropolitan District of Quito participated in the programme "Adventure in the Botanic Garden" (September 2007 to June 2008)
- 869 children from schools of the Metropolitan District of Quito participated in the programme "Water Kit" of the Botanic Garden (September 2007 to June 2008)
- 438 children were treated in the health facilities of the Foundation Operation Smile and of the Foundation Cecilia Rivadeneira
- 739 adults were trained in nutritional education and food safety - teachers, mothers, facilitators and employees of governmental and nongovernmental institutions (April 2008 to August 2008)
The combination of efforts brought to this cause have allowed Nutrir to reach 16'440 children as well as 739 adults in 2007-2008. Our original goal of impacting 20'000 people was hence almost reached.
