Launched in January 2008, this project aims to improve the nutrition knowledge of health-workers so that, in turn, they can disseminate it to the community. In 2008 Nestlé held a series of training sessions for 1,300 health workers in collaboration with the Local Health Agency and the Indonesian Medical Nutrition Association.
Health workers (GPs, midwives, nurses, nutritionists) targeted were those working in Public Health Centres in three cities (Jakarta, Bandarlampung & Pasuruan).
Training sessions aim to equip health workers with appropriate knowledge and skills to teach their communities the basics of healthy nutrition habits.
