Nestlé Paraguay has made donations since 1998. 30 charity organisations who are officially registered and have proven to be serious and effective in reaching clear objectives of help and support, were selected. These institutions are both private and public and some are of religious orientation.

Through food donations, we have provided support in the areas of rural education, underprivileged children, children's homes, psychiatric public institutions as well as homes for the elderly and the disabled.

During times of tragedy, we have reacted quickly. Our main example here has been our food donation less than 24 hours after the explosion of the Ycua Bolaños Supermarket in Asuncion in 2004 where more than 400 people died. This was one of the worst tragedies in the history of Paraguay.
