The Milk Supply Plan aims to increase milk production in Venezuela and to support the farmers at all stages of the process. The plan began in 2005 and so far has taken place in three milk producing states, achieving an increase of 80% in milk production in this region. Annual dairy production is expected to double by 2015.
The project is designed and implemented in conjunction with the Government, Cámara Venezolana de Industrias Lácteas (CAVILAC), Universities in the sector and farmers affiliated to the plan.
