In the past 11 years, Nestlé has supported Caritas and Food Banks. Both these organisations recognise the structural nature of poverty and the need to tackle this issue. They are independent and non–profit organisations which help to decrease hunger and poverty around the world.
In 2008, Nestlé Poland donated food products worth about 35'000 PLN (10'000 Euro) helping over 300'000 people. Other partners in this initiative are Tesco and Pizza Hut.
