The objective of this programme is to create awareness amongst farmers of Moga & Samalkha Milkshed about the need to conserve water and optimise its use in agriculture. Assistance to farmers is provided in the form of technical support on new irrigation techniques in agriculture, rain water harvesting, groundwater recharge, optimum use of water for irrigation and water management on dairy farms.
